TOMORROW WE’RE HEADING INLAND… EUREKA TO COLUSA, CA

Tomorrow morning we’re pulling out of Eureka and pointing Ace Ventura south. Willie Bear will be right behind us, four on the floor and along for the ride like always. We’ve had an incredible time here on the Northern California coast. Redwoods, wildlife refuges, ocean views, hiking, birds, and more scenery than we could possibly fit into one camera. But tomorrow the wheels start turning again, and this one should be a beautiful ride. Our route will take us south on US-101 from Eureka, then east on CA-20 through Williams and on to Colusa, California. We’re leaving the cool Pacific coast behind and heading into a completely different part of California. That’s one of the things we love about traveling this way. In a matter of hours, the whole world outside the windshield can change. And here’s where you guys come in. If you live anywhere along our route tomorrow, let us know! If we can find a safe place big enough to get Ace Ventura and Willie Bear pulled in, we’d love to stop, say hi, sign a copy of one of our books, take a picture, and finally put some faces to the names we see here every day. That’s one of the coolest parts of this whole adventure. We may be the ones driving the miles, but all of you have been riding along with us the entire way. So tomorrow it’s Eureka to Colusa.
