Russian Gulch Falls: A Little Magic in the Redwoods
There’s something about walking deep into an old redwood forest that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. And our adventure to Russian Gulch Falls in Northern California was one of those days we won't soon forget. Breezie and I followed the trail beneath towering redwoods, past ancient trees that have survived fires, storms, and more years than we can imagine. Some were hollowed out, others carried the scars of long-ago fires, yet there they stood, still reaching for the sky. And of course, being us, we couldn't help having a little fun looking for Bigfoot along the way. After all, if a big hairy fellow wanted to hide somewhere, this forest would be a pretty good place to do it! But the real treasure was waiting farther down the trail. Tucked away in the forest was Russian Gulch Falls, with beautiful water tumbling over the rocks, surrounded by ferns and the peaceful sounds of nature. It was one of those places where you just want to stand for a while and take it all in. We've traveled a lot of miles together, Breezie and I, and we've learned that some of life's greatest treasures aren't things you can buy. They're the little adventures, the laughter along the trail, and the beautiful places we get to discover together. We put together a special video of our hike, taking you deep into the redwoods, sharing a little history, having some fun, and finally arriving at the falls. So come along with us. Turn up the sound, enjoy the music, and spend a little time wandering through this incredible forest. And keep your eyes open. You never know what might be watching from behind one of those giant redwoods! Happy trails, Finius and Breezie...and Silver The Adventures of Finius the Skinniest
